I'm officially leasing a horse now!! I went to my neighbors, and my neighbor said that if I take care of their horses for the month of July (they're going on a cross-country road trip) then I can lease one of their horses for the summer. So I chose Sassy, because she's such a sweetie and she's the parents' horse, and they almost never ride. The rest of the horses belong to the kids, and so they can go on trail rides with me. She said she wouldn't mind if I go out by myself, either, cos I'll be going out alone when they're out of town anyway. So yeah, I'm excited!! I've never taken care of them all by myself, but I've helped Beth last summer and the summer before that. But Beth won't be home until mid-July cos she's in Costa Rica. It'll be a lot of work, but it's nothing compared to working at Six Flags, and, if you think about it, I'd pay $600 to lease Celeste for the summer. And if I took care of the horses for July, then I'd prolly get paid $150. So basically I'm doing $150 of work for $600. Talk about saving money!! Lol. I'm so excited!!
