Mood: Hurt (physically)
Music: The sound of cicadas
Meow...I was up at my neighbors' house this afternoon with my mom, changing the fence so the horses could have a new spot to eat grass, and I stepped on a bee. =( I tell you, I don't remember bee stings hurting that much. I think my mom thought I was a wuss, cos I burst out crying. Seriously though...I was wearing sandals, and it was right on the inside of my foot. X_X My foot and ankle both swelled up, but they're looking a lot better. I don't think the stinger came out, cos every time I touch that spot, it stings a lot. I take a lot of joy out of the fact that the little mofo is now dead. If not from losing his stinger, then from me squashing the hell out of him lol. Bee: 1, Laura: 2!
On another illness note, my Grandma has Tuberculosis. X_X So my mom has to get tested, cos all immediate family members are supposed to get tested, and if my mom tests positive, then I have to get tested. Dude, what the hell is up with TB?? My Grandma has it, Alan's gf has it...crazyness. X_X My mom's not showing any symptoms, so hopefully she doesn't have it, but apparently you can carry it and not be aware of it. X_X Meep.
I saw I, Robot again. Man....it would be freaking sweet if those kinda robots existed. But prolly not in my lifetime...=( I mean, they showed a robot walking 4 or 5 dogs. What if the dogs started fighting? The robot would have to know how to deal with that situation. It'd have to stop the 5 dogs, untangle the 5 dogs' leashes, and calm them all down at the same time while keeping them all in control. Would a robot know how to do that? Not in the 50 years I have left in me. *sigh* I hope I get reincarnated in about 150 years.
